Our Thunder Bay centre began in 2004 with a small referral office and a lone representative who visited drug addicts in the local jail, gave drug awareness presentations to schools and shared hope with those who couldn't get out of the drug lifestyle.  Since that time, it has helped numerous individuals overcome their addictions and change their lives!  

The first Teen Challenge centre was founded by David Wilkerson, author of The Cross and The Switchblade, over 50 years ago in Brooklyn, New York.  His mission to reach out to drug addicts and gang members soon spread.  Today Teen Challenge operates more than 1000 programs in 80 countries around the globe, making it the largest and most successful faith-based drug treatment program in the world. If you are struggling with an addiction to drugs or alcohol, we can help. 

Teen Challenge receives no government support for operating funds, relying instead on private donations and funds raised through its vehicle donation program.  You can support Teen Challenge Thunder Bay by becoming a monthly partner, making a one-time gift or by donating your old vehicle.
